Ahhh NetPets — the first major tamagochi style game on the web. I designed this game at Disney Online for the Interactive group under the Little Mermaid brand. It allowed users to raise a pet fish, requiring food and regular check-ins (more than 20 years ahead of Farmville!) and even had a system for teaching complex tricks and swim sequences to your pet. It was one of our top performing content initiatives for the year.
